We are currently excited about an op<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_5xPYSZmps7Q/SIdq-FkcAHI/AAAAAAAAAFY/Ig_MYOcwbUo/s1600-h/189V7338.jpg"></a>portunity to purchase the school building and property where we have been tenants for the past four years. Since it went up for sale spring 2008, we have daily felt the urgency to Save Our School at our present location!<br /><br />The asking price for the building on 16 acres is 5 million dollars, a formidable amount for a small school. However, we are a people of faith! This SOS is because we firmly believe that our state-approved, non-profit, independent, Christian school needs to continue our mission here in Gig Harbor, Washington -- in our current location! We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization and we are asking for your help to accomplish this.<br /><br />Our sense of purpose and the fervency of our mission have only intensified since our school first opened its doors with only four students in the fall of 2002. We have gradually grown to between 65-85 students.<br /><br />Our mission is to meet the needs of all learners by offering an individualized program in which students can excel at their own pace. We have a highly skilled staff of experienced, certified teachers and tutors so that students can receive the support they need to achieve academic success. Through flexible grouping and ongoing assessments, students are able to excel by working above their grade level or may receive special one-on-one assistance and tutoring to bring them up to grade level.<br /><br />Each student is valued, affirmed, and encouraged for their strengths, as well as offered special resources for areas that require further development. Our philosophy results in inclusiveness, diversity, and compassion.
